Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving! It is hard to believe that we are already at the end of the year. I feel like 2018 just started! As the day begins, I wanted to take time to share what I am thankful for today! Through church and family we are always trying to teach our children what it means to be thankful. I love hearing their responses that are so simple, sometimes silly, and always heartfelt. To approach this thinking we try to make them aware that choosing to be thankful will create a happier mindset and change their attitude. It also reinforces to us (because you know we forget too) that there are so many things to be grateful for in our lives.
My family is a given. I am so thankful for the gift of life and my four miracles. My husband and I prayed for these little ones and feel blessed to have the gift of them. I am grateful for my marriage and friendship. Through 11 years we have had millions of laughs, memories, and adventures. I am so appreciative of my parents. They live near Chris and I provide a ton of support and love. Finally, I am grateful for the opportunities provided to my family. We feel blessed to be in the position to support our family and give back to our community.
I did not forget…Texas Madre is so proud and thankful of the support and friendships we have developed over the past year and a half. You are so kind and encouraging and it is rewarding to be a part of your lives. Thank you thank you thank you!
