Before I share that yummy recipe lets have a quick history lesson.
July 4, 1776 marked the birth of American Independence and is celebrated annually with red, white, and blue. You can find people enjoying bbq, delicious food, water activities, parades, concerts, reunions, baseball games, fireworks, and more. Although 2020 looks a little different =) So what does this all mean. Well, the Continental Congress declared the 13 colonies were no longer subject to the British Monarch and were free and independent states. It was actually voted on July 2, but declared on the 4th! Happy 4th my friends and thanks for playing along.
Ok, here is why you are really here. Enjoy this fabulous and mouth watering drink!
Ingredients:
Shop the ingredients:
- 1 64 oz jug of Clamato
- 3 T of Worcestershire
- 12 drops of Tabasco or to taste
- 2 t garlic salt
- 2 t dill weed
- 2 t celery slt
- 2 t horseradish
- Juice of 4 limes or 1/4- – 1/2 c of lime juice to taste.
Mix all ingredients in a large pitcher with a whisk. Keep the whisk handy and stir when serving. Add alcohol if you desire. I prefer vodka!
