One of my favorite things to do is discover small towns. East Texas is home to a lot of small towns with a lot of charm.
Ben Wheeler is one of our newest discoveries. It is a great town that has a few restaurants, a famous guitar shop (they supply some of Nashville’s finest musicians with products), and other artisan shops.
Today the kids and I stopped in town to explore the sites. One of their favorite things is the Moon Pie mural. Not sure if it is the dessert or that someone painted a picture on the building 😍
The town is also the capital of wild hogs. Scare me 🐷 Oink!
As the cooler months approach we will be spending a lot of time here enjoying their music festivals.
My look today was relaxed and fun for this wonderful weather and day of discovery. A cute ruffled denim off the shoulder top, suede leggings, tied together with a leather belt. Comfy brown wedges and a hobo bag for all my goodies.
