Colorful Stripes

Recently I swooned over an IG post from a fellow fashion blogger. Want to know what the photo was…An adorable striped turtleneck topped off with a beanie while out in the snow. Jealous was my first thought. It is so not fair that they have cold weather and Texas is still reaching the 90s. Oh well. My next thought was how sweet and perfect the moment was that the photographer captured.

That post inspired me to go out and find some tops that featured stripe work. The more color the better. I found a contender friends. This top is from Old Navy. It is lightweight and the stripes consist of five cheerful colors. It is a solid piece that can be worn alone or layered easily.

Today I wore it with my ripped jeans and long cardigan. This navy cardigan is so cozy and adds depth to the look. I added a light color boot which happens to be on repeat a lot this season. The color is perfect. The whole outfit is finished off with simple accessories – pearls, watch, and a small clutch.

You can easily achieve this look. It is affordable, chic, and totally on trend.
