Blush and Bashful

December 11, 2017

Anyone that is anyone knows that “Blush and Bashful” are keywords in Steel Magnolias! I was in fifth grade when this movie came out and I still remember watching it with my besties Carolina and Margaret! I swear we had so much fun together in our childhood and today in our adult years.

A normal weekend for us was running through the neighborhood, chasing boys, playing games, catching a movie, and reenacting a scene or two from those movies. We sure did have the time of our lives…pun intended growing up. There are a few movies that will never be the same without my girls. I am dating myself a bit, but the following movies were the best of the 80s and 90s during my youth!

Let me know if you have seen any of them and your thoughts. I am not promising an Oscar performance, but these were all dramas and so on point for the time!

Happy watching and welcome to movie phone. Oh goodness I am old!
