Holiday season is here and I am so excited. I love my family and love to host gatherings. This year we are celebrating at our property and I am prepping the house and barns for the festivities. Yea!

For Thanksgiving we are anticipating around 30 people to attend. This is parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, cousins, brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews. Wow, that is a lot of people. Not really. We are blessed with a loving and involved family. No matter what we have each others back. Our parents raised us right so it is no wonder that we enjoy one another’s company. It is only fitting that I introduce you to my siblings.

I have an older brother that was six when I was born. He is a gifted musician and manager. He and his wife have a daughter that you see on the feed regularly. She is five and is nine months behind the twins. They have a home in Austin, but just moved back to Dallas for the schools and to be closer to family.

My little brother is three years behind me. He is a banker by trade and a cross-fit coach/entrepreneur (he and his business partner just launched http://www.blvd-east.com – they handcraft luxury leather goods) on the side. He and his wife have two children, their daughter is 2 weeks to the day older than my oldest daughter and their son is 16 months behind my youngest. Babies everywhere! They live in Dallas and are less than five miles away.

My brosin (cousin like a brother/twin) is four months older than me and has lived with my family since we were ten. He is a born salesman and can get you to do anything. We have a ton of fun together and he recently bought his first home and lives with his girlfriend.

That is us in a nutshell.

This crew and more will be joining us. A typical Thanksgiving is as follows!

-Turkey Trot if in town

-Macy’s Parade

-Food

-Food

-Football

-More Football

-Pick-up basketball game during half time

-Food

-Football

-Fall asleep

Ha! You know this is a true account of the day. I will make sure to keep you up to speed in my stories on turkey day! Until then, have a wonderful rest of the weekend and I hope to visit with you this week!

xo,

Vanessa
