Fundraising season is upon us in Dallas. That means cocktail and black tie events, all of which I am so happy to attend.
In my closet I always like to have a black dress and beautiful heel. You never know when an invitation will arrive and when there will be time to shop. Four babies keep me plenty busy. This is a great foundation to build any dynamic outfit.
My look today is a mix between old and new and easily accomplished. My Calvin Klein dress lays softly on the body and feels like butter. This is from an older collection and is not available for purchase, but I did link a couple of his dresses and a few other designers.
I added my CZ studs and a druzy encrusted necklace by a local Dallas company, LVcr8. My studs are from Nordstrom and are gorgeous. They look like the real deal and are nice addition to my jewelry. I don’t always wear all of my real diamonds to events as I unfortunately lost one earring at an event and was devastated. The products from Nordstrom’s line are a nice substitute and sparkle just the same. The brilliance of these pieces adds depth and wow factor.
My shoes are perfect for a fun night. They are Betsey Johnson. They have a beautiful cut with the strap work and the faux fur on the toe is on point with this seasons trend (pun intended).
This look is glamorous and elegant. You take a classic style and turn it up a notch.
