Back to this off the shoulder ruffle top. It is such a great top. The ruffle alone is big and fun. There is great movement to it and it covers in all the right places. This off the shoulder is very functional too. It does not move up and down like most tops and stays in place which is a blessing. Nothing worse than tugging at your clothes continuously. I love to wear this top with jeans. Today I put on my black skinny jeans and finished the look off my Steve Madden heals. Black on black helped elongate my legs and step the look up. You could wear this exact styling day or night.
My jewelry is fun and a little edgy with choker. Austin based designer, Shira Melody, designed this wrap choker. I picked it up in a boutique outside of Austin, The Boutique Kyle. I normally would not wear a long necklace with this top, but the black wrap and the bling at the bottom broke up with the look and really stood out. This is a great piece to own. Not only can you wear it as a necklace, but could even use it as a lose belt or bracelet.
We had so much fun shooting this look. I am in Bishop Arts District southwest of Downtown. It is located in Oak Cliff and the area is very groovy. There are a lot of restauratnes that are delicious and top ranked in Dallas. Their are several galleries and boutiques located in the area as well. It is an up an coming neighborhood that has an eclectic and chill vibe. If you are not from the area be sure to stop by on your next visit to Dallas. You will not be disappointed.
