Wrapping Up this Fall

October 14, 2017

Guys! Who loves to layer? Who loves ponchos, wraps, scarfs? Well, I do too. I have always enjoyed the soft feel of the fabric and wrapping up on those cold days. Texas is finally starting to share a hint of that lovely Fall weather and I am taking advantage of it in a major way.

I found a beautiful wrap in East Texas at Canton Trades Days. They have 100s of vendors that come in once a month for up to five days and sell goods. This is bright and vibrant and feels like your quality pashmina. I wear this piece so many ways. You can layer over long sleeves, you can dress it up with some leather leggings, you can wear with jeans. The list is endless.

Today I chose to wear it with a burnt orange bralette. The orange adds depth to the colors and represents my Horns. The body forming under layer is a nice way to wear an oversized garment and show off your true size. You don’t want to get lost in there.

I wore my skinny jeans in a dark wash and my orange wedges. Add in some fun jewelry and you are party ready.

I must confess. I have not attended the game at the Cotton Bowl in years. Instead we family generally entertains friends or we attend a party. This year I am headed to a friend’s house to cheer on my team. Oh, and they are all Sooners. Help me! 😉

My baby girl is sporting her cheerleading uniform. You can buy these outfits at the University Co-op, Walmart, and Barnes and Nobles in Austin. She is a doll!
