Last month I went with some girlfriends to Austin. We were celebrating a birthday and showing an out of towner the sites. It was such a fun trip. I will write another post highlighting our hotel and what we did! Stay tuned.
Anywho, late night the girls and I went dancing. We had a blast. Funny thing is an old “Nelly” song came on and some of the guys at the bar had no idea what the song was. Come to find out they were born in 1994. Talk about making you feel old. That was one of the funniest experiences ever.
I later told another friend and she was like I was listening to an awesome 90s remix and could have sworn the songs just came out. Haha! We all have those moments where you forget and I must say those feel good. I hope to continue life full of energy and sass. I don’t care if I am 70 – I will probably still have long hair and still be dancing around!

Before I exit, I wanted to share some great spring finds from Target. The pink cover up comes in two colors and can be worn as a shift. The black dress cinches at the waist and has a gorgeous sleeve. The embroidered dress is beautiful in detail and offers a comfortable fit. The blue and white striped ruffle is darling and the perfect spring dress. The black and white gingham top is amazing with the flattering cut. Several of these pieces can be styled for day and night too.
A lot of people shy away from Target because they are not certain of the quality and are hung up on a name. Please don’t worry about these things. I am always telling people they fashion and style do not have to cost a fortune. You can utilize all price points and come up with a fabulous look. Your wallet will love you and so will your hubby.
Real quick…I live in an affluent neighborhood and several of my friends are well to do. I am constantly complimented by them on my clothes and a lot of them happen to come from Target. Be confident and wear the clothes. Don’t let them wear you. Attitude is everything and your clothes just dress it up!
