Vibrant and Layered

October 30, 2017

So, when it comes to layering I have a huge selection of goodies. There are a mix between old and new in my closet. This is great as some things are always in season and can blend right in with the current trends.

Take my Navajo vest. Is this not gorgeous? The colors, texture, and design are all top notch. I bought this earlier this year at Canton Trade Days. If you have never heard of Trade Days you need to check it out. Once a month (First Monday) the town of Canton opens up their outdoor space to hundreds of vendors. They come out starting the Thursday before the first Monday of each month and setup for four days of sales. They easily see thousands of customers during those days. Anyway, there is a darling boutique that sets up a pop up here and I happened to snag this beautiful vest. Next time I visit the booth I will pull their information to share with you all. In the meantime, I linked some other options for vests.

My top is from Target. I tell you every time I wear one of their pieces they are doing great things with their buyers and brands. I received so many compliments on my top. It is soft, great quality, light weight, and the color is amazing. Bell sleeves are totally in and there is a slit at the wrist for more flows movement. Take it from me, buy this top in every color. It is great on its own and layered.

The rest of the look is casual with the jeans and riding boots. Speaking of the boots. I have a larger calf than the average woman. These boots from Easy Street (bought at DSW) offer the perfect space and fit for my body. I can wear over jeans that are bulky, which is amazing. Thank you so much for the industry and designers that are catering fantastic pieces for the curvier woman. I appreciate you!

Enjoy these wonderful colors this season and don’t shy away from the bold!

XO,
Vanessa
