Put a Cherry On Top and call it a day. We have such a wonderful array of painted buildings and walls in Dallas. This is one of our new ones. The Cherry Wall on Henderson and Matilda (I think its Matilda). The funny thing about the shoot is that it was about to storm with rain, lightening, and possible hail. You can see from my dress the storm is beginning to BLOW in.

I was in a hurry to shoot this look and this wall was perfect to highlight this really cute and on SALE dress from Gap. It can be worn on the shoulder or off. The fabric is a cotton blend and so comfortable. It’s an A line shape and gives a very sweet lady-like look to anyone wearing this design. I added a little flip flop because it is about to be HOT in Dallas. Gap has a variety of colors to choose from. My pink bag only adds that sweet feminine look to this look. Ladies, lunch or shopping, this little number tops the top of any delicious moment! I’ll have a cheery on top anyway 😉

A “cherry on top” means metaphorically that something small and special is added to something else that is also very nice to make it just that much more enriched. It comes from the idea that a bowl of ice cream is wonderful, but even more wonderful if a cherry is put on top.

xo,
