Taking time to stop and smell the roses! Found this gorgeous embroidered floral top at Nordstrom for my fun girls night out to see A Bad Mom’s Christmas. It is a little sassy and a whole lot of fun.
The pops of color are bold and the top makes a statement. The detail is exquisite and it is a great find. I added red heels and a red tote to complete the look. The colored accessories enhance the top and create a fun burst of color. I must say that red has been on repeat for me a lot. Red shoes, red bags, red tops you name it and I am loving it – especially during the holidays!
On to the movie! There are around 10 moms that meet monthly for dinner and drinks and the occasional outing. This month we nixed our dinner and headed to the movies. Let me tell you – Bad Moms is so funny. You get a little silliness and the ladies personalities are amped up from the first movie. If you can take that humor then I definitely recommend seeing it. They also added some power players into the movie.
Are any of you hosting a Friendsgiving? Hope your holiday is wonderful!

When I think about warm clothing I always consider comfort and the ability to adjust based on temperature. As you know, Texas weather is a bit tricky so layering is key.
This oversized turtleneck sweater is an oldie, but goodie. The cinching at the waist and wrist allows a chunky sweater to adapt to the body for a great fit. I love this tan/caramel color. It is so beautiful on and mixes well with other hues.
My scarf is butter. I actually purchased this at Paul Michael Company. They specialize in home, but have a great selection of accessories too. Check them out. The pastel colors are faint and the overall effect is similar to many high end designers. Plus, when it warms up I can easily remove this and still have a fashionable look. Yea me!
My light wash jeans are actually Mossimo. I liked the color and length of these as they hit higher than the ankle, but are longer than capris.
My booties are so great! They are Sam Edelman and have a similar tone to the sweater. They are on a chunkier heel and zip on the inside. I highly recommend these as they are versatile and gorg!
Jewelry and bag are simple and fun! I have a layered set of bracelets on and some jacket stud earrings. My bag is Free People and is reversible. It comes in several color options too.
Keep it fun this Fall and don’t forget to layer. It is easy to change up a look by removing a littl here and there and the reverse!

I love pink. I love comfortable fashion. I love beautiful jewelry. This look encompasses my style and is on major sale too.
Last Call has this great smocked off the shoulder top from Max Studio. It comes in multiple colors and is about to be gone fast. Hurry and purchase as this top is a great cut that will transition between most seasons. It is easy to layer and looks wonderful on its own.
Jeans are my trusty hi lo hem and they are so comfortable. One thing I have done with this pair is let some of the rips grow. Right now distressed torn jeans are hot. The bigger the better right. ha!
I have been layering my jewelry and love the pop it adds. The jewelry is stylish, lightweight, and adds texture and appeal. Thank you.
These slides are amazing. Franco Sarto has them in a couple of colors. The embellished top is a sweet and edgy look. They are on sale in most color options too.
Have fun in this sweet look that is on sale now!

I stopped by Inwood Village the other day and decided to make a mad dash into some of my favorite stores before school pick-up. First up on the list, Last Call! Second, Gap (baby girl needed a new outfit because she decided to wear her food). I don’t have a picture of her in it, but I found the sweetest Bambi Dress for her. Last, Francesca’s for a little of this and that!
Boy I am glad I stopped. Last Call is having a great sale now and I found the best crepe smocked off the shoulder top. It is 30% off and is PINK too! A girl can never have too much pink. I love this top. The material is fabulous and it cinches at the waist, wrist, and shoulder for a good fit. Buy it now and thank me later!
I wore this top with some fitted Dear John jeans and added some great finds from Francesca’s. I have been looking for a wine colored velvet sandal and hit pay dirt. This shoe is very comfortable and the richness in color is amazing. I also found some beautiful filigree earrings. My exact pair are available in store only while inventory lasts. Instead I linked a very similar pair from their site. Francesca’s jewelry is heavily discounted now and you could potentially walk out of the store with a pair of earrings as low as $5. That is a steal.
My watch and earrings are on repeat a lot. I love my Rolex. The blend of colors wears easily with all looks. My sunglasses are slim and chic too!
This look is sweet and chic and a steal of deal. Thank you summer sales!
