Love Loafers
How can you resist these LOVE loafer! Yes, it’s the Valentine season, but love is never out of style. These darling loafers are so comfortable and you can wear them with anything! My jeans again 🙂 yes, I told you I’m wearing more jeans than ever lately. Paired them with my cute knit sweater with a fab slit opening in the back. Added my Hermes belt and off I went to do my day.
I linked my darling throw pillows too. These are perfect to snag now for next year. They really could be left out all year, but we tend to use them for those special holidays!
Blue Plaid
I wasn’t even looking for a coat this day. Going about my business I saw it looking at me! Come here shopper I want to go home with you…and it did! I love this coat. I love the color, the fit, the little fringe at the bottom. It is everything.
I got it on sale, which was an added bonus. I linked two similar styles for you and a plus size option. This shoot I paired it with a black top, black leggings, and a black bootie. Accessorized with my Choloe inspired bag and medallion necklace to finish off the look.
It is actually simple look to achieve. There are not a ton of extras – just black and the statement coat. I find in fashion and style less is more many times. This is one of my favorite looks and loved looking out over my beautiful Dallas skyline.
Metallic Sweater
I spent this day in Farmers Market in downtown Dallas. It had been a tough day starting off, but as I strolled the area I found myself relaxing and enjoying just being in the moment. I think a lot of times we don’t allow ourselves to decompress, especially me.
I have shown this beautiful top before in an more elegant look and love that it was so versatile and in my opinion looked as gorgeous with my jeans and a cute mule.
These mules are embellished with a modern take on a delicate detail. The whimsical pattern screams hello and is a great find! Paired with a fun fringe bag the look takes off and is street ready!
With this new or should I see revisited venture; I find myself engaging more in “me” time and appreciating my beautiful city, it’s style, and fashion. I love how all of this translates into my life. Four God – given children, a roof over my head, a loving spouse, perfect fur babies, and a supportive family – TEXAS MADRE is an extension of all these things!
I recently found a quote that I love on Pinterest, ” Be a little more you, and a lot less them!” Such a true and wonderful statement!
