Spring Dresses

March 25, 2019

Oh, the beautiful colors of Spring are upon us. What I love about Spring is the bright and colorful palette of the outdoors and how it translates to clothing.

In the day spring dresses were more formal and I’m loving that designers are listening to what women want and what’s easy. We’ve come a long way from putting on nylons for Easter and wearing a long very proper dress to church. Don’t get me wrong we still have that tradition; however, styles have evolved and are more fun and flirty.

I’ve gathered some really fun looks for Spring and Summer as well as the classic Easter dress for you to see. There’s a little bit of this and that for everyone as warmer weather is on the horizon. Plus, you will see a lot of flowing fabrics.

Check these out below. The first three are classic and elegant dresses. They can all be worn without any hesitation to Easter services. They can also be dressed up a bit for a sassy look with your girlfriends or loved ones. The blue I can easily see being a fun staple in the closet! Oh, and the floral print is for all my plus size girls.

The fourth dress is a snake print that has a cinched waist and daring hemline. I really love the print and silhouette of this dress. I have told you several times that animal prints are all the rave. Well, here is a mild color print that packs a whole lot of punch! It is classic and more in line with today’s style.

The black and white dress is a beautiful maxi dress with a knot detail on the chest. This dress will easily take you all the way to fall. The flowy cut and black and white print are an easy wear day or night.

The colorful and playful dress is for my plus size ladies. It is perfect for those curves. The colors are not too bold and the waist shows the natural curves of the body. The cinch hemline adds a flirty element to the dress too. Another great thing about this cut is the 3/4 length sleeve.

The red dress is a fun chiffon dress that has a bit of boho flare with a bold red backdrop. I can see this paired with a fun hat and low boots or a thin strap sandal.

The color block maxi is amazing. I am loving the neutral tones and the statement they make. Maxis are a favorite of mine so expect to see me in this one!

Last, the romper is very trendy and sweet. If you have long legs then take advantage of this number. it will look like a mini dress on and the sequins work is beautiful. This comes in two colors, but I prefer the pink/blush best.

I will be rounding up more favorites so stay tuned. Hope you have a great night. I am off to prep for my babies birthday. Yea for the big 4!
