I can’t even handle the excitement! The Happy Meal is celebrating 40 years of existence around the world. You know what that means – great food and amazing toys that bring joy and lasting memories for your little ones.
When I think of my childhood I can’t remember not eating at McDonald’s and getting my chicken nugget or hamburger fix. I had several favorite toys along the way too, but my absolute favorite from the past four decades was the muppet baby stuffed animals.
I’m sharing a little secret. My best bud was Miss Piggy. I know you are jealous =) I had that cute stuffed animal in her red dress with her rosy cheeks forever. If I recall correctly (sorry mom brain) I gave her to my cousin once I outgrew it. My little brother loved(s) Kermit and he still has his toy from that series too. Proof below!
Now through November 11 at participating McDonalds they are gifting Happy Meal patrons “surprise” Happy Meals that contain iconic toys from the past four decades while supplies last.
Take a trip down memory lane with these amazing toys! I have several friends that have already started buying Happy Meals daily in hopes that they get as many retro toys as possible!
Below are a few of the “surprise toys” you can expect to see!
