Making a Statement

I love black. It is a great neutral color that most people look fabulous in. It is slimming, it can be bold, it goes with everything.

I own a lot of black clothing. It is a staple in my closet, I can take a basic outfit and add a statement piece for a more sophisticated dressy look. I can keep it simple and go for a casual vibe.

This week I have been taking black shorts and dressing them three ways. Yesterday I showcased a kimono with the same shorts. Today I dressed it up.

I found a long sleeve cross front shirt that adds excitement and elegance. I added beautiful teardrop earrings that are made of precious stones to make a statement. Enhanced it with some sexy strap heels, a bold satchel, and some aviators to finish the look.
