You did it. You made it through most of the week and only have one day to go before you can sit back and relax.
Did you guys catch the World Series? How about them Astros?! When I graduated from college I worked for one of their farm teams and loved it. This was such a wonderful victory for them in light of recent events. Proud of their team and will. It was bittersweet to watch though. One of the pitchers for the Dodgers grew up in my neighborhood. I guess I could not go wrong with either team winning. =) Until next season! Come on April!
Today was a day full of errands and work. I am one of those people that starts a project and will move to another before completing the first one. This does not happen with everyday things, just home redecorating etc. Needless to say, I must break the cycle and get it done. Well, I did today. I finally wrapped up a purging project. Several piles of goodies to donate to the shelters and families in need. That was a much needed task that is rewarding!
With all the things going on today I needed a casual look to match my mood and the job at hand. This look is so fun! I mixed and matched several pieces and layered x2! You can’t go wrong with all that texture =)
My exact vest is from E.Leigh’s Boutique. It is a quilted pattern and the hoodies is fur lined. I love the olive green too. This can carry you through the season. It will also work nicely under a jacket. I layered over a very lightweight flannel and lace trimmed cami. In Texas this week we have been starting our days with cooler weather only to turn into 80 and 90 degrees. These layers are key!
I am in some distressed denim jeans with a hi lo hem. The hems right now are all cut, cuffed, frayed, and frilled. Have fun with your denim. I paired my Sam Edelman boogies with the look. They are extremely comfortable and gorgeous to boot.
Accessories are all eclectic and purchased through out of state vendors. The bag is Remember Me Green. They are an eco-friendly company that uses sustabible billboards and recycles/upcycles them into bags and more. Check them out. Their story is worth reading.
Earrings are from the Fuss Boutique in Florida. They offer an online store as well as direct sales over the phone.
Accomplished and casual is the name of the game today. So glad to check one more thing off the list.
Have a great night and until tomorrow.
xo,
Vanessa
